"PHILOCTETES - MAN IN THE LABYRINTH"
On the example of Sophocles' drama Philoctetes and Robert Silverberg's fantasy novel The Man in the Labyrinth, we will talk about the complexity of integrating the "wound" into mental space. The clinical material provided will help us think of complex cases, such as those in which the person becomes entangled in a maze of rigid psychic defenses that isolate him from the object and make him feel like an outcast.
